Tactical Information

  • The Pacifier is an AR-23P Liberator Penetrator side-grade that trades damage for higher rpm and the ability to stun enemies.
  • The Pacifier has worse stun buildup at 1 vs SMG-72 Pummeler's 1.25 make it require 1 or 2 more shots to stun the same targets but compensates for this by being able to stun enemies by penetrating their Armor AV3 Icon.png Medium armor such as Devastator chest armor.
  • On empty the final phase of the weapon's reload when not re-engaged from that stage has a longer duration than the animation would sugest, potentially causing helldivers to interupt the process with other actions only to realise later they can't shoot yet.

Performance

The AR-32 Pacifier's stun rounds are good for keeping Armor AV3 Icon.png Medium armored targets locked down or otherwise interupt their attacks.

Due to how the final reload phase of the weapon is longer than the animation of pulling back the chamber, Helldivers may frequently interupt their reloading thinking their gun is loaded only to find that not to be the case.

While effective at dealing with hostiles, Helldivers may feel that the gun is quick to chew through its mags in a fight, as such bringing a Supply pack is advised.
