Achernar Secundus is a Plains Planet in Helldivers 2, located within the Borgus Sector. It is currently under 
Super Earth Federation control.
Lore
The Factory Hub
A day before the Protect the Factory Hub Major Order, the Factory Hub appeared on Archernar Secundus. The Helldivers only learned the full context of which a day later; The Ministry of Defense had awarded a multitrillion-Supercredit contract to AM Defense to produce high-quality military equipment for the Helldivers, and began constructing the Factory Hub on Achernar Secundus as part of this contract.
Incidentally, there was a sudden uptick in Terminid activity within the neighboring Jin Xi Sector and Sten Sector, seemingly in response to the newfound 'Heavy Democratic activity' on the planet. The Helldivers where ordered to defend against the incoming Terminid attacks. As the Illuminate would return halfway through this period, the Major Order would be abandoned, with the Terminids gaining some territory neighboring Achernar Secundus.
The Factory Hub ultimately faced an Illuminate incursion rather than a Terminid attack. The raid would be repelled, allowing the fleet-wide roll-out of the Fast Recon Vehicle to continue.
Hold Planets to Build the Penrose Energy Siphon
While the Helldivers held several planets in order to enable construction of the Penrose Energy Siphon, a strategic alert was issued to let Helldivers that Achernar Secundus was under attack, causing production disruptions and thus fuel rations for FRV to be issued.
Later on, a alert was issued stating that the planet had fallen to the Terminids. The factory had been evacuated, with FRV fuel being reduced by 90% until either the planet is reclaimed or fuel can be sourced from elsewhere.
Repel the Illuminate and Gather E-710 for the Repulsive Gravity Field Generator
As the Helldivers would thin out Illuminate ranks and harvest E-170 from the Terminids on Turing, a incursion alert was issued due to the Illuminate attack on the planet. The attack would threaten the AM Defense Factory Hub and thus endanger the investments of a key military contractor.
