Annex Untapped Mineral Sites is an Automaton Mission in Helldivers 2. Helldivers are tasked with obtaining Automaton mining coordinates and acquiring their soil samples. Depending on the difficulty, multiple coordinates and sites may be required to complete the mission.

Depending on the difficulty, multiple coordinate drives may be required to move to the next objective.

Acquire Soil Scan Data

Use Prospecting Drill Stratagem
Activate Prospecting Drill
- On the terminal, press the directional inputs and wait five seconds for the depth confirmation.
Confirm depth using drill interface
- On the terminal, adjust the marker to the designated coordinates seen on the right of the grid.
Use Prospecting Drill to retrieve the first sample
- On the terminal, press to activate the drill.
Collecting sample
- Helldivers will need to wait 25 seconds for sample collection. The sample collection will also cause Bug Breaches or Bot Drops to occur nearby. Enemy amount and type increases based on difficulty.
Use Prospecting Drill to retrieve the second sample, final sample
- Helldivers will need to repeat the sample collection process two more times.
Upload sample data using drill interface
- On the terminal, press on each of the three samples to upload them.
