Weapon Customization, which allows players to change weapon attachments, was introduced in Patch 1.003.000. Weapon experience is needed to unlock attachments, and Requisition Slips are needed to purchase them.

Weapon Experience

Weapon Experience is just the Experience you get while using each weapon. It is the same for all primary weapons.

Additionally, when a weapon is maxed out its level in the weaponry list and name in customization screen are shown in gold font as opposed to white.
