Bore Rock
Bore Rock is a Basic Swamp Planet in Helldivers 2, located within the Falstaff Sector. It is currently under 
Terminid Horde control.
Lore
Bore Rock is home to a sparse amount of colonial outposts, established by the Ministry of Expansion for long-term colonization.
Liberation of the Falstaff and Jin Xi Sectors
Soon after the destruction of Terminid nurseries in the Mirin and Draco sectors, the Terminids suddenly attacked numerous planets located within the Falstaff and Jin Xi Sectors. Super Earth High Command theorized that the attack was indeed due to the destruction of Terminid nurseries, but Super Earth's "top behavioral analysts" connected it to a simple mutation causing their sudden need for expansion.
High Command ordered the Helldivers to retain control of Bore Rock, Erson Sands, Pandion-XXIV, Phact Bay, and Acamar IV, as these planets held colonial outposts, important to expanding Super Earth's future presence in the galaxy.
The Helldivers would successfully retain Super Earth's control over the planets, despite sudden Terminid outbreaks taking High Command by surprise. The outbreaks in Jin Xi in particular were noted to likely have originated from "abnormally large spore dispersals" from the destruction of the nurseries.
Interstellar Terminid Spore Cloud Phenomenon
Super Earth High Command received SEAF reports of a Terminid invasion on Socorro III that brought new Terminid variants, quickly overwhelming the SEAF stationed on the planet. In addition, a mysterious, interstellar spore cloud of Terminid origin surrounded the planet. High Command blamed its presence for the invasion on Socorro III, as well as the new, and potentially fake, Terminid variants.
The Helldivers were ordered to eradicate 500 million Terminids on Socorro III and push onto the nearby planets of Esker and Bore Rock to establish a quarantine barrier, in an attempt to stop the spread of the rumored variants.
The Helldivers were successfully able to complete the Major Order, though High Command still remained concerned of the continuous spread of the interstellar spore cloud, now known as The Gloom. It was discovered that spores on Socorro III originated from The Gloom, potentially proving its responsibility for the new Terminid variants.
