A strafing run of the battlefield to clear small targets, delivered almost instantly. When called the strike will start from the beacon and go away from the direction you were facing when thrown

The Eagle Strafing Run calls the Eagle in to shoot a barrage of bullets from its cannon, parallel to the player. This stratagem can effectively clear small enemies and heavily damage medium ones. The strafing run is unable to deal with heavily armored targets, so Helldivers may want to rely on another stratagem or support weapon to deal with them.

Tactical Information

  • Out of all the Eagle stratagems, the strafing run comes out the quickest. This is most likely due to the bullets traveling faster than rockets and bombs from the assault craft
  • The Strafe fires in the direction you throw the Stratagem. Throw behind yourself while being chased for maximum effect (bouncing the Stratagem may change the Strafe direction).
  • Unlike most offensive Stratagems, the Eagle Strafing Run will not alert or aggro enemies until the first shot is fired.

Applicable Ship Modules

The following Ship Modules affect the Eagle Strafing Run:

Hangar Liquid-Ventilated Cockpit Reduces the cooldown time from 15 seconds to 7.5 seconds. Rounded to 8 in game.
Pit Crew Hazard Pay Reduces the rearm time when out of charges by 20%
Expanded Weapons Bay Increases the number of uses per rearm from 4 to 5
