Extract Research Probe Data
“The Ministry of Science has launched hundreds of thousands of robotic space probes into the Gloom. Their purpose was to gather data on how the Gloom interferes with most forms of signal transmissions. The probes were supposed to automatically transfer the data back to Ministry of Science servers but unfortunately the Gloom is interfering with their signal transmission.
Find the probe, and boost its signal to transmit its data past the atmospheric Gloom to the Super Destroyer.— Mission Briefing
Extract Research Probe Data is a Mission in Helldivers 2. Helldivers are tasked with locating and boosting the upload signal to two or more research probes.
Objective Steps
Research probes are increased based on difficulty.
Trivial to 
Medium have two.
Challenging to 
Suicide Mission have three.
Impossible to 
Super Helldive have four.
Upload Escape Pod Data
The research probes will be scattered around the map, either in the terrain, or inside cities.
- Use Upload Data stratagem to begin upload
- Protect (Helldiver Name) during upload
- The Helldiver must stay inside the radius and survive for the entire 40 second duration of the upload.
Successfully completing the mission will reward 
Experience and 
Requisition Slips, as well as allowing for extraction.
Tactical Information
- Research probes tend to be located within the area of influence produced by Terminid Structures (E.G. Bug Nests) and other secondary objectives. Starting the upload process without fully securing the surrounding area beforehand triggers Bug Breaches throughout the upload duration.
