Free Colony is a Mission in Helldivers 2.
Objective Steps
Much Like Spread Democracy Missions, Helldivers must travel to a designated flag raising point and deploy the Super Earth Flag Stratagem. However, there will almost always be an additional Monolith on the map that must be destroyed.
Difficulty 1-5 will almost always have one Raise Super Earth Flag Objective, and one Destroy Monolith.
Raise Flag of Super Earth

Trivial difficulty will have one raise flag objective, difficulty 6 and up will add an additional objective.
- (If Helldivers are out of range) Move closer to objective
- Helldivers must move closer to the objective location.
- Use Stratagem: SUPER EARTH FLAG
- Flag Raising
- Helldivers must wait and defend the flag from constant Illuminate Reinforcements the entire one minute and forty seconds until the objective is complete.
- Enemies near the objective must be all killed once the flag has fully raised to complete the objective.
Destroy Monolith
“Strange Illuminate monoliths seem to be creating fields of negative energy. We do not understand their purpose of their true nature. That is why they must be destroyed.

One destroy monolith objective will appear on each free colony mission, reguardless of difficulty.
The Monolith can only be destroyed by a Hellbomb.
- (If Helldivers are out of range) Move closer to objective
- Approach Monolith, watch for Illuminate units.
- Do not touch the Monolith. The Monolith will kill any Helldiver that touches it.
- Deploy Hellbomb Stratagem when around 10 meters away
- Activate Hellbomb Stratagem.
- Run.
