Tactical Information

  • The Seeker grenade is impact-fused like the G-16 Impact and G-13 Incendiary Impact grenades and will instantly detonate once it hits a target, ground, wall, etc.
    • Damage from outside sources (explosions, being shot mid-flight by a Helldiver or enemy) will not detonate the Seeker grenade.
  • Seeker grenades have a detection/seeking radius seems to be about 50 meters.
    • Seeker grenades seem to ignore their range limit when targeting Gunships.
  • It takes 2 Seeker grenades to the heatsink of a Tank or Cannon Turret to destroy it.
  • If a Seeker grenade detects no targets after being thrown, it will hover around the user until a target comes within range, or until its 30s lifetime is depleted. If the battery runs out, the G-50 will harmlessly fall to the ground rather than explode.
  • Seeker grenades cannot destroy spawners such as Fabricators
  • Seeker grenades are able to pass through Harvester shields.
  • Seeker grenades will prioritize homing in on enemy targets that are marked (pinged) by the Helldiver that threw them, given that the marked targets are within the Seeker grenade's range .
    • Seeker grenades themselves can be pinged, although there isn't really any use in doing so.
  • Seeker grenades will prioritize attacking - and are notably effective against - aerial targets, typically only taking 1 - 2 to destroy Gunships, or strafing Stingrays.
  • It only takes 1 Seeker grenade to take out Elevated Overseers.
