Fully upgraded LIFT-850 Jump Pack

The Helldiver-issued jump pack propels the wearer a short distance into the air and forward, allowing for swift movement over difficult terrain. The pack is cumbersome, and as a result, the wearer won’t be able to go prone.

Gameplay Tips

  • While wearing a Jump Pack with fuel, hitting the Dive button will cause the player to "jump" into the air and forward, replacing the ability to dive and go prone. If the player is on fire, jumping with the Jump Pack will extinguish the flames.
  • There must be a clear arc between the player's position and the intended landing spot. Having obstructions in the way, like a tall environmental feature, will result in a shorter distance jump, or prevent the player from jumping at all.
    • Low obstacles can still be jumped over.
    • Using a Jump Pack near a bottomless pit or similar environmental hazard will usually land the player at the edge instead of sending them flying into the void. However, care must be taken after landing to avoid sprinting and falling.
  • Every 2 "jumps" will noticeably drain the Jump Pack's fuel. Once it runs out of fuel, the player loses the ability to "jump" and can go prone again.
    • Collecting an ammunition box will fully refuel an equipped Jump Pack.
  • The player is invulnerable to all types of damage sources while airborne. This can be useful to avoid casualties from Offensive Stratagems and the nuclear blasts from a NUX-223 Hellbomb or Shredder Missile Strike.
  • The Jump Pack is a good choice for aiding in snow and water traversal if the player does not own the All-Terrain Boots or does not wish to use them.
