Gameplay Tips

  • The targeting algorithm used by the Sledge is very similar to the Railcannon Strike, but with a much larger range.
  • While it can destroy Cyborg IFVs, the Sledge needs to hit the vehicle's rear to do so.
    • In order to effectively destroy or disable the Cyborg IFVs cannot move back. The IFVs must stand still or follow the player.
  • Sledge Precision Artillery can destroy mission targets (Cyborg AA Guns, Bug Nests or Illuminate Beacons), instead of the standard-issue NUX-223 Hellbomb, although it is difficult to actually hit AA Guns or Beacons in the right place. Try to gently roll the beacon as close as possible to the base of the structure. In the case of Bug Nests, dropping the beacon inside the nest is reliable as long as there are no enemies nearby to attract the Sledge's homing projectiles.
