Tactical Information
Rocket Devastator
- Rocket Devastators are accurate and deadly even at range, and its rockets can leave Helldivers vulnerable if they're knocked off their feet. They should be considered a high-priority target at all times. In a pinch, any weapon can be used to destroy their rocket pods, essentially reducing it to a Devastator.
- Alternatively, Helldivers can peek in and out of thick cover to waste a Rocket Devastator's ammo.
Devastators
- Devastator torsos are clad in
Medium armor, but their head, hips, and stomach are
Unarmored II armor. A significant number of weapons can destroy a Devastator with a single headshot, such as the P-4 Senator and R-63CS Diligence Counter Sniper, so precision is highly rewarded. This carries some risk, however, as missed headshots will be deflected by their torso armor. Stomach shots can provide a more consistent method to destroy them.
- In general, if Helldivers are unable to quickly kill a Devastator, staggering them while piling on damage is a very reliable strategy. The most obvious candidates for this are variants of the SG-8 Punisher. With sustained fire, the Devastator can be kept off-balance, preventing it from unleashing its powerful weaponry and keeping it helpless until sufficient damage or a more precise headshot can be landed.
- The CB-9 Exploding Crossbow is excellent at destroying Devastators, as 2 shots on their torso will usually kill them and the blast will stagger other Devastators nearby.
- The use of explosive weapons on the hips/legs can rapidly deconstruct most Devastators.

* Parts with their HP listed as "Main" do not have their own individual health. All damage dealt to these parts is transferred to the enemy's Main health pool.
** Refer to armor values and enemy durability as defined in Damage.
*** The percentage of damage that is applied to the enemy's Main health pool. At 0 HP, the enemy dies. Unless the enemy has constitution, then it will bleedout and die.
**** ExDR means explosive damage resistance, this is a percentage between 0 and 100. If this value is 100%, the part is explosive immune, meaning explosives cannot damage it.
Explosions will only directly damage Main health if it is internal.
