The Incendiary Cannonner is a light Automaton that is part of the Incineration Corps subfaction. It is equipped with a specialized light Fusion Cannon.

Spawning

Incendiary Rocket Raiders can be found on all difficulties on planets invaded by the Incineration Corps. Incendiary Rocket Raiders can spawn from Bot Drops, within patrols, guarding Automaton Outposts and Objectives, or from Automaton Fabricators.

Starting on Challenging Difficulty Icon.svg Challenging, they can be found guarding Minor Places of Interest.

Behavior

Incendiary Rocket Raiders will raise and point their Portable Fusion Cannon at Helldivers and fire one fusion bolt before recharging amd firing again after about five seconds. They will often fire from medium range, and can fire from afar if they have a Helldiver in their line of sight, and have been alerted to their presence. Rocket Raiders will slowly distance themselves from Helldivers if they approach, and will punch them if they get too close. Like all Incineration Corp Trooper variants, the Rocket Raider will attempt to toss a incendiary grenade if a Helldiver is hidden within cover.

When alerted to a Helldiver's presence, Incendiary Rocket Raiders can fire a flare to call in a Bot Drop.

* Parts with their HP listed as "Main" do not have their own individual health. All damage dealt to these parts is transferred to the enemy's Main health pool.
** Refer to armor values and enemy durability as defined in Damage.
*** The percentage of damage that is applied to the enemy's Main health pool. At 0 HP, the enemy dies. Unless the enemy has constitution, then it will bleedout and die.
**** ExDR means explosive damage resistance, this is a percentage between 0 and 100. If this value is 100%, the part is explosive immune, meaning explosives cannot damage it. Explosions will only directly damage Main health if it is internal.


Weapon Loadouts

Portable Fusion Cannon

A heavily scaled down Hulk Fusion Autocannon. This Portable Cannon grants Troopers the ability to blast away cover, infantry and even penetrating armoured vehicles. Currently exclusively used by Trooper units within the Incineration Corps.

Steel Fist

While they are primarily equipped for long-range combat, the Rocket Raider is by no means helpless in hand-to-hand. Its steel gauntlet is more than strong enough to rip a man’s jaw clean off

White Phosphorus Grenade

A heavily modified HE Grenade. This grenade replaces its explosive charge for a bursting charge that sprays out White Phosphorus in the general area, igniting almost instantly as it contacts air and showering the area with bright hot flame.

Tactical Information

Incendiary Rocket Raider Specific

  • Like other light Automaton icon.svgAutomatons, suppressing the Incendiary Rocket Raider will reduce its accuracy. Due to its slow reload and firing, this can significantly reduce their lethality in group firefights.
  • Due to their small size and tendency to fire from range, Incendiary Rocket Raiders can be an annoyance. Their rockets can launch and ragdoll Helldivers, which can leave them vulnerable to other Automatons.
  • Unlike typical Rocket Raiders, Incendiary Rocket Raiders have their launcher replaced with a strong single shot, similar to the bolt from bunker turrets.


Light Automatons

  • All light Automaton icon.svgAutomatons can be suppressed by shooting at them; this will briefly reduce their accuracy.
  • All light Automaton icon.svgAutomatons are equipped with a hidden flare launcher in their left arm, which can be used to call in Bot Drops.
    • Destroying them before it can finish launching the flare will prevent a Bot Drop from being called in.
  • Grenades and headshots will reliably one-shot all light Automatons.

Other data on Incineration Corps troopers

  • The grenades used by the incineration corps detonate much sooner and are incendiary.
  • Incineration Corps may be found to be generally more armored, with some troopers who did not have armor, to now have armor.
