Thank you for your patience!

The Jet Brigade Devastator is an enemy in Helldivers 2.

Spawning

Jet Brigade Devastators can first be found on Easy Difficulty Icon.pngEasy on planets invaded by the Jet Brigade. They can be spawned from Bot drops and within patrols.

The Factory Strider can spawn four Jet Brigade Devastators from its undercarriage.

Behavior

Jet Brigade Devastators will slowly approach Helldivers while firing their arm cannon. Their rate of fire is noticeably faster than that of standard Devastators, amplifying the threat they pose at medium and close ranges. They'll rapidly fire several 2-shot bursts, before pausing for about 3 seconds to cool their weapons.

Like regular Devastators, Jet Brigade Devastators are able to punch Helldivers if they're too close, knocking them down. They can also stomp on them if they are prone.

In the case that there is a large amount of distance between a Jet Brigade Devastator and the Helldiver it is targeting, they will use their jump pack to rapidly close the distance. Their jump pack can explode if damaged, significantly damaging and burning themselves and nearby Automaton icon.png Automatons or Helldivers.

Unlike other Jet Brigade units, destroying their jump pack doesn't instantly kill them.

* Parts with their HP listed as "Main" do not have their own individual health. All damage dealt to these parts is transferred to the enemy's Main health pool.
** Refer to armor values and enemy durability as defined in Damage.
*** The percentage of damage that is applied to the enemy's Main health pool. At 0 HP, the enemy dies. Unless the enemy has constitution, then it will bleedout and die.
**** ExDR means explosive damage resistance, this is a percentage between 0 and 100. If this value is 100%, the part is explosive immune, meaning explosives cannot damage it. Explosions will only directly damage Main health if it is internal.

Tactical Information

  • Jet Brigade Devastators can cross large areas and quickly get into ranges where their weapons are far deadlier. They will prioritize getting into close quarters at all costs, limiting your ability to eliminate them at long range.
  • The jetpack of the Jet Brigade Devastator is more vulnerable than the Devastator itself, exploding and igniting enemies, itself and potentially you upon destruction. The jetpack will detonate posthumously if enough damage reaches the jetpack through the Devastator's chest or stomach.
    • Weapons such as the Purifier, Plasma Punisher or the Eruptor can be used to detonate the jump pack from afar, dealing area damage around the Devastator and disabling its jump ability.

Trivia

  • Jet Brigade Devastators have an alternate color palette with considerably fewer red accents than standard Automaton colors. Notably, their heads are plain black with stark white eyes.
  • Jet Brigade Devastators are referred to as 'Devastators' by the game, lacking a unique name.
