Medals are a Currency used in Helldivers 2. They are used for unlocking Warbond content.
Procurement
The maximum number of medals any Helldiver can have is 250. Any additional medals earned beyond this limit are discarded.
Medals can be obtained on any Difficulty through various means:
- 1-3 can be collected from cases found at Minor Places of Interest, inside pods, containers, or bunkers.
- These are instantly added to every present Helldiver's account upon pickup. Mission completion is not required.
- 1-15 can be earned by completing Missions based on the chosen difficulty.
- 15 are awarded for completing Personal Orders.
- 35-65 from completing Major Orders.

Field Information
- Special loot containers containing Medals are more likely to be found on difficulties
Trivial through 
Medium, since their spawns are not taken up by Rare Samples in those difficulties.
