Regions

Regions are sections of a planet that utilize the Metropolis biome and possess their own mechanics.

Overview

Regions are divided into four different types with varying HP amounts:

1. Settlement (★): 100k HP
2. Town (★★): 200k HP
3. City (★★★): 400k HP
4. Mega City (★★★★): 600k HP

All types utilize the same map generation of the Metropolis biome, differencing only on the amount of HP each region has, with Settlements having the lowest amount and Mega Cities having the highest.

The Operation Modifier Civilians and SEAF in Area is present on all Regions regardless of difficulty.

Mega City 1 - Port Mercy

Since sheltering millions of loyal refugees in the Last Great War, Port Mercy has been a safe haven for any Class-A citizen in need.

Port Mercy serves as the capital of Sector 1.

It was the 6th Mega City to be attacked and 4th to fall to the Illuminate invaders of The Great Host during the First Battle for Super Earth.

Mega City 2 - Equality-On-Sea

Named for the history conference where Humanity was found to be the most Equal species in the Galaxy.

Equality-On-Sea serves as the capital of Sector 2.

It was the 3rd Mega City attacked by the Illuminate during the First Battle for Super Earth.

Due to a massive community-driven effort by Chinese players, Equality-On-Sea was one of two cities left standing at the end of the First Battle for Super Earth despite being amongst the first to be invaded.

Mega City 3 - Prosperity City

Home to the Democratic Council, our proud Capital is a beacon of Progress, Productivity, and Patriotism.

Prosperity City serves as the capital of Sector 3.

It was the 7th Mega City attacked by the Illuminate during the First Battle for Super Earth.

It is the most important Mega City and the federal capital of the Federation of Super Earth. It is one of the two Mega Cities that were not destroyed by forces of The Great Host during the First Battle for Super Earth.

Mega City 4 - Administrative Center 02

Administrative Center 02 serves as the capital of Sector 4.

It was the 4th Mega City to be attacked and 2nd to fall to the Illuminate during the First Battle for Super Earth.

Mega City 5 - Eagleopolis

Eagleopolis serves as the capital of Sector 5.

It was the 1st Mega City to be attacked and fall to the Illuminate during the First Battle for Super Earth.

Mega City 6 - Remembrance

Remembrance serves as the capital of Sector 6.

It was the 2nd Mega City to be attacked and 3rd to fall to the Illuminate during the First Battle for Super Earth.

Mega City 7 - York Supreme

York Supreme serves as the capital of Sector 7.

• Each Super Earth Mega City seems to be based on the location of real-world cities:
  • Port Mercy seems to be located in Southeast Asian archipelago, which contains major cities such as Singapore and Jakarta.
  • Equality-On-Sea seems to be located in Shanghai, China.
  • Prosperity City seems to be located in Stockholm, Sweden.
  • Administrative Center 02 seems to be located in Brussels, Belgium.
  • Eagleopolis seems to be located in the southwest region of the Mediterranean Sea, which contains locations such as Cairo, Jerusalem, and the West Bank.
  • Remembrance seems to be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
  • York Supreme, as the name suggests, seems to be located in New York.

• It is likely that Remembrance serves as a reference to Starship Troopers.
  • In the movie, an attack on Buenos Aires is used to justify the war the movie follows.
  • Remembrance is located near Buenos Aires and is said to have been rebuilt from a destroyed city.

• The mass defense of Equality-On-Sea lead to some controversy among Chinese players, who due to a translation error believed that the Illuminate campaign would be ended once it was 100% liberated.
• Mega Cities are split into four different categories on Colony planets, identifiable by the number of stars above the icon:
  • Settlements, with one star,
  • Towns, with two stars,
  • Cities, with three stars,
  • Mega Cities, with four stars.
