Moradesh
Moradesh was a Desert Dunes Planet in Helldivers 2, located within the Celeste Sector. It was the second victim of the Meridian Black Hole's movement.
Lore
Moradesh Research Facility
With the creation of the Meridian Supercolony, the Moradesh Research Facility was established so scientists could work on weaponizing Dark Fluid to destroy it.
Incident in the Dark Fluid Research Facility
On May 27th, 2184, exotic resources that were located in the Moradesh Research Facility collapsed into a micro-black hole that spaghettified 12 facility workers before evaporating.
Fate of Moradesh
By March 2nd, 2185, Moradesh was mentioned and expected by Super Earth High Command in a Major Order to be the next victim of the Meridian Black Hole, after Angel's Venture's annihilation. The Helldivers decided to defend the
Deep Mantle Forge Complex on Claorell instead of defending planets from Illuminate invasions, which would have slowed the Black Hole's approach. As a result, the scientists working on Dark Fluid experiments were evacuated as the Black Hole approached the doomed planet, abandoning future plans with the Dark Fluid.
On March 14th, 2185, Moradesh was annihilated by the Meridian Black Hole. High Command stated that 95% of Class C and higher citizens were successfully evacuated. In addition, the Ministry of Humanity issued a 24 hour quiet reflection "on the nature of vengeance."
Following Moradesh's annihilation, Ivis became the next planet threatened by the Black Hole.

Trivia
- The Moradesh Research Facility one of the first locations with direct connections to the Illuminate, and their technology. While they were only mentioned, the use of the Dark Fluid and name-dropping them was foreshadowing their eventual return.
- Similar to other Galaxy Places of Interest prior to the Galactic Map rework, the Moradesh Research Facility did not have a visible icon or text on the map. Nevertheless, it was a vital location that needed to be protected in case of Terminid invasion.
