Pilen V
Pilen V is a Desert Cliffs Planet in Helldivers 2, located within the Altus Sector. It is currently under 
Super Earth Federation control. It was destroyed by 
The Illuminate after their retreat, following their loss on Super Earth.
Lore
Penrose Energy Siphon
Pilen V was one of the planets threatened by the 
Meridian Black Hole. Fortunately, the construction and launch of the Penrose Energy Siphon slowed the Black Hole.
Second Gloom Expedition
After the Helldivers would go into the Gloom and provide security for a scientific expedition, construction would start on the Repulsive Gravity Field Generator on the planet. When completed, it would completely stop the Meridian Black Hole, powered by Dark Fluid and significant amounts of E-710.
Defend Critical Sites From The Illuminate
After the Helldivers would stop the onslaught of Gloom infest Terminids, the Illuminate would attack the planet alongside Fenrir III, in an effort to stop Super Earth efforts to halt the Meridian Black Hole. However, the Helldivers would repel the attack, allowing for work on the Repulsive Gravity Field Generator to continue. In addition, millions of pacified Voteless specimens were collected, to better understand Illuminate mind control.
Early Activation of the Repulsive Gravity Field Generator
As the Generator neared completion, the Helldivers were ordered to repel the Illuminate while gathering E-710 to protect and fuel it. However, the Helldivers were unable to complete the objectives of the Major Order. It was then decided to activate the Generator in its near-complete state, where it successfully stopped Meridian Black Hole. Unfortunately, High Command reported that the Generator catastrophically imploded tragically causing the deaths of various staff members.
The Illuminate would suddenly disappear after the Generator successfully stopped the Black Hole. In addition, the planets of Nublaria I, Pilen V, and most importantly, Super Earth, were now safe from complete annihilation.
True Illuminate Invasion
After the sudden invasion and fall of Widow's Harbor by the full fleet of the Illuminate, Pilen V was targeted next. Similarly to Widow's Harbor, Pilen V would fall to Illuminate control. The Illuminate would then reach Democracy's doorstep, invading New Haven.
