The R-2124 Constitution is a bolt-action Marksman Rifle reminiscent of pre-Democratic rifles. It is affixed with a bayonet, improving melee damage and range.
Acquisition
Distributed to all present and future Helldivers as of October 27, 2024, along with the DP-00 Tactical armor, to celebrate Liberty Day.

Tactical Information
- It is recommended to engage groups of enemies from afar due to the Constitution's poor capacity, fire rate, and reload time.
- The bayonet is effective at dealing with small groups of small enemies, easily killing fodder such as Scavengers.
- It is also silent, greatly aiding stealth-oriented Helldivers.
- As the bayonet counts as a melee weapon, it is affected by Peak Physique, increasing its damage and durable damage.

Trivia
- The Constitution closely resembles World War I rifles, specifically the M1903 Springfield and the M1917 Enfield.
- The Constitution has a tactical reload animation that is more easily seen in first-person, where the Helldiver holds down the rounds in the internal magazine to prevent them from ejecting.
Known Bugs
- Tapping backwards during the bayonet stab animation will cause the Helldiver to freeze their stab animation; this does not negatively affect any control over the Helldiver. Turning or moving will fix this.
