Tactical Information
- Due to the R-6 Deadeye's slow reload speed, it is advised to reload frequently rather than waiting for magazine to be depleted.
- When all the rounds are spent, one round is inserted into the chamber, while the rest are single-loaded into the tubular magazine.
- The high stagger force of the weapon allows it to stun-lock medium enemies, including Berserkers, Devastators, and Brood Commanders.
- The Deadeye’s high base ergonomics, and the aforementioned high stagger force make it a surprisingly effective weapon at close quarters, if ammo is managed carefully.
- Because of its high single-shot damage, the R-6 can kill Illuminate Overseers, Crescent Overseers and Elevated Overseers with a single shot to the head.

Trivia
- The R-6 Deadeye resembles modernized versions of 19th century Marlin style lever-action rifles, fitted with Picatinny rails and metal & polymer construction.
- In the promotional picture for the Borderline Justice Warbond, the R-6 Deadeye does not have a scope. It is present in-game, so the promotional picture may have showcased an earlier iteration of the weapon.
- The four cartridges fixed to the side of the receiver will disappear one by one when reloading the last four rounds left.
