SSA Radar has identified a fleet of Illuminate invasion ships descending upon this sector from close orbit. They intend to sieze control of the area in an aerial blitz.

You are the last line of defense. Destroy all enemy ships as quickly as possible.

Repel Invasion Fleet is a Story Mission exclusive to the defense of Super Earth, which tasks Helldivers to quickly destroy all Warp Ships landing within the area. If too many ships land and are not destroyed, Super Earth's control of the area will diminish until mission failure results.

Objective Steps

  • Destroy Warp Ships that have landed until Warp Ship reserves hit zero and every landed Warp Ship is destroyed.
  • Prevent Super Earth's control of the area from hitting 0. Control starts to diminish when a high number of Illuminate ships are deployed.

Trivia

  • While landing, Warp Ships can be shot down, and while they visually have shields they currently don't appear to work properly instead increasing the Warp Ships total health pool till they land.
  • Warp Ships in this mission are not Grounded Warp Ships but flying Warp Ships that land and reveal doors as weak points. As such they are considered enemies and can be targeted by sentries.
  • Many weapons that can one-shot Grounded Warp Ships, such as the Ultimatum or Thermite Grenade, require draining the shields (in the case of Ultimatum) first or targeting special areas to achieve the same effect with the Warp Ships in this mission. In particular:
    • Thermite Grenades cannot be tossed anywhere onto the ship, but must be tossed near the door of a shielded ship or anywhere on the lower hull of an unshielded ship to achieve a kill.
    • Orbital Gas Strike rounds must land near the center of the ship to achieve a kill, and cannot land near the edge.
