Tactical Information
- As a fully automatic shotugn, the Breaker is excellent at providing very high damage against large groups of Enemies at close range.
- The Breaker is extremely effective against large groups of lightly armored enemies, such as Voteless, Troopers and several types of Terminids.
- The Breaker's excellent damage is offset by its poor ammo economy. Careful firing is recommended to avoid running out of ammunition earlier than anticipated.
- Being a shotgun, the Breaker's main weakness is its spread, making it less effective at range than other Primary Weapons.
- Compared to the SG-8 Punisher, the Breaker has much less stagger force, meaning that enemies will not be slowed or staggered after being hit, which can be problematic against fast-moving enemies such as Warriors and Alpha Commanders.
- Compared to other Breaker variants, the SG-225 breaker is suitable for focusing down single targets at slightly longer ranges than its counterparts. It further benefits from fitting the Half Choke and Full Choke muzzle attachments in this role.

- The Breaker is produced by Morgunson for hunting purposes and is advertised as such on the Super Destroyer's TV.
- In the advertisement, the Breaker is referred to as an SG-12 instead of an SG-225.
- The Breaker loosely resembles the real life AA-12 (and by extension the USAS-12) auto-shotgun.
