Tactical Information
- With a high caliber round and short barrel, the Reprimand excels at engaging armored enemies at close range.
- The main defining characteristic of the Reprimand is that it fires
Medium Armor penetrating rounds that inflict significant amounts of damage per shot.
- The Reprimand suffers from poor weapon spread, which makes it very unreliable at rangers greater than 30 meters. In order to make the most of the weapon, try to fight enemies at close ranges where its accuracy is less problematic.
- Like the Defender, the Reprimand has a low firing rate, which limits its ability to quickly put lead on target. As such, it is better to try to make every shot count, taking advantage of each individual round's high stopping power.
- The main defining characteristic of the Reprimand is that it fires
- The Reprimand can benefit from a variety of Armor Passives.
- Engineering Kit or Fortified can reduce weapon recoil by 30%, which can help keep the weapon under control when firing at full auto.
- Peak Physique can improve the weapon's handling, as its ergonomics are the weakest among Submachine Guns, being more comparable to that of Assault Rifles.
- Siege-Ready improves reload speed, which disproportionately benefits the Reprimand due to its slow reload time, while also providing additional spare magazines to help counteract the small magazine size.
- One major disadvantage of the Reprimand is that unlike all other Submachine Guns in the game, it is incapable of being one-handed. This means that it cannot be utilized with Stratagems like the Directional Shield or carry important mission equipment like the SSSD or the High Value Sample in Super Helldive.
Trivia
- The Reprimand's full reload animation involves the Helldiver performing what is known as the "HK Slap," a reload method on various Heckler & Koch weaponry popularized by movies and video games. Its design is primarily inspired by the H&K UMP, specifically the higher caliber UMP45 model.
- The Reprimand's caliber happens to be the exact same as the P-113 Verdict's, and in fact shares the exact same bullet properties, such as stagger force and muzzle velocity.
