Sabotage Air Base is a Mission that can appear on Automaton-controlled planets. It tasks Helldivers with destroying one or more parked Dropships and, on 
Hard and above, destroying an Air Base Control Tower. This is reflected in the Mission’s icon, overriding the Dropship icon if the Air Base Control Tower is present.
Starting at 
Suicide Mission, Helldivers are required to destroy two Air Base Control Towers and one group of Dropships, on 
Helldive, this is increased to two air bases and two groups of Dropships.
- However, this does not apply to City missions. In Cities,
Suicide Mission and above will require one Air Base Control Tower and two groups of Dropships to be destroyed.
Mission Walkthrough
Destroy Air Base Control Tower
“All Dropship communication is routed through this Control Tower. Destroying it will disable any long range dropship deployments.

- Use Stratagem: SSSD Delivery
- Unlike the SSSD Delivery present in Retrieve Valuable Data missions, this input is 5 down inputs and 2 up inputs.
- Collect the SSSD Hard Drive
- Insert SSSD into receptacle
- The receptacle can either be found next to the terminal present in the air base, or next to the Air Base Control Tower itself.
- Activate Liberated terminal
- Use terminal to sabotage Control Tower
- Helldivers are required to activate three different switches, similar to a SEAF SAM Site
- Use terminal to complete sabotage
- Helldivers are required to press a single switch, doing so will start a 10 second countdown after which the Air Base Control Tower will explode and the objective will be completed.
- The explosion is similar to that of a NUX-223 Hellbomb, so Helldivers are advised to stay away from the Air Base Control Tower during the countdown sequence.
Destroy Dropships

- Helldivers are required to use any means necessary to destroy all Dropships present.

* Parts with their HP listed as "Main" do not have their own individual health. All damage dealt to these parts is transferred to the enemy's Main health pool.
** Refer to armor values and enemy durability as defined in Damage.
*** The percentage of damage that is applied to the enemy's Main health pool. At 0 HP, the enemy dies. Unless the enemy has constitution, then it will bleedout and die.
**** ExDR means explosive damage resistance, this is a percentage between 0 and 100. If this value is 100%, the part is explosive immune, meaning explosives cannot damage it.
Explosions will only directly damage Main health if it is internal.
Tactical Information
- The Dropships in the "Destroy Dropships" objective are not the same as their flying counterparts as they have significantly less health at 1,000 vs 3,500 and the thrusters are not separate parts of the fuselage.
- Any Weapon/Stratagem with
Anti-Tank I armor penetration, preferably with high durable damage such as the PLAS-45 Epoch or LAS-99 Quasar Cannon, can destroy the grounded Dropships.
- 1 shot with any Anti-Tank.
- 1 G-123 Thermite
- 2 fully-charged shots with the PLAS-45 Epoch.
- 3-4 99% charged shot with the RS-422 Railgun.
- Conventional attacks cannot destroy the Air Base Control Tower. You must call down the objective equipment, insert it, and engage the terminal to self-destruct the tower.
