From Helldivers Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Spore Burst Scavenger is a scavenger that has been exposed to the Gloom for a long period of time. Upon being killed it explodes, creating a small orange cloud in the surrounding area and dealing small damage to nearby Helldivers.

Behavior

Spore Burst Scavengers appear to behave identically to natural Scavengers.

Tactical Information

Spore Burst Strain Specific

  • Using melee weapons against Spore Burst Terminids is not recommend, as the spore explosions will quickly end the life of a Helldiver.
  • Contrary to some beliefs, Armor with the Acclimated passive is only marginally effective against Spore Burst Terminids and provides only minimal damage resistance.
  • Gas weapons such as the TX-41 Sterilizer and G-4 Gas Grenades can deter Spore Burst Terminids from your position, allowing you to more easily avoid spore explosions.

General

  • Due to their low health, Scavengers can easily be dispatched by any weapon.
  • When encountering a patrol or group of Terminids, it is recommended to kill Scavengers quickly before one can causes a Bug Breach.

* Parts with their HP listed as "Main" do not have their own individual health. All damage dealt to these parts is transferred to the enemy's Main health pool.
** Refer to armor values and enemy durability as defined in Damage.
*** The percentage of damage that is applied to the enemy's Main health pool. At 0 HP, the enemy dies. Unless the enemy has constitution, then it will bleedout and die.
**** ExDR means explosive damage resistance, this is a percentage between 0 and 100. If this value is 100%, the part is explosive immune, meaning explosives cannot damage it. Explosions will only directly damage Main health if it is internal.
