Spore Burst Warrior

Spore Burst Warrior is a Warrior that has been exposed to the Gloom for a long period of time. Upon being killed it explodes, creating an orange cloud in the surrounding area and dealing small damage to nearby Helldivers.

Behavior

Spore Burst Warriors appear to behave identically to natural Warriors.

Tactical Information

Spore Burst Strain Specific

  • Using melee weapons against Spore Burst Terminids is not recommend, as the spore explosions will quickly end the life of a Helldiver.
  • Contrary to some beliefs, Armor with the Acclimated passive is only marginally effective against Spore Burst Terminids and provides only minimal damage resistance.
  • Gas weapons such as the TX-41 Sterilizer and G-4 Gas Grenades can deter Spore Burst Terminids from your position, allowing you to more easily avoid spore explosions.

General

  • Warriors can be killed with any weapon, but high fire rate or explosive weaponry can quickly take out groups of them.
  • The fastest way to kill a Warrior is by destroying its head, though destroying it will cause it to enter its "berserk" state. Helldivers can shoot the Warrior more to fully kill it, or they can avoid it until it fully bleeds out.
    • Destroying any of its legs will prevent its movement speed increase.
  • Warriors are capable of causing Bug Breaches even without their head, though they will likely bleed out before fully calling it in.
  • Warriors are generally slow, but Helldivers should remain wary of their strafing capabilities, which may hinder a retreat from other Terminids.

* Parts with their HP listed as "Main" do not have their own individual health. All damage dealt to these parts is transferred to the enemy's Main health pool.
** Refer to armor values and enemy durability as defined in Damage.
*** The percentage of damage that is applied to the enemy's Main health pool. At 0 HP, the enemy dies. Unless the enemy has constitution, then it will bleedout and die.
**** ExDR means explosive damage resistance, this is a percentage between 0 and 100. If this value is 100%, the part is explosive immune, meaning explosives cannot damage it. Explosions will only directly damage Main health if it is internal.
