The StA-11 SMG is a rapid-fire, high-capacity SMG, made available for free as part of the Helldivers x Killzone crossover set.
Tactical Information
- The StA-11 is an extremely rapid-fire SMG, most comparable to the MP-98 Knight; it has less recoil, a lower fire rate, slightly lower capacity, and identical damage (previously higher). Like most weapons in its class it trades accuracy and lethality at range for close-range combat potential, whilst the position of its large helical magazine precludes the installation of underbarrel accessories like flashlights. Its lower recoil and fire rate means it's much more stable than the Knight and doesn't climb quite as aggressively.

Bugs
- When the reload process is interrupted, resuming the reload will immediately consume a magazine, even if the reload has not been completed. This can occur each time the reload process is interrupted, which can result in multiple magazines being lost without the weapon being readied to fire.
Trivia
- The StA-11 appears to be a mashup of the the PP-19 "Bizon" and IMI Uzi SMGs, having a Bizon-style skeletal stock and the distinctive helical magazine, with the more rectangular chassis, longer barrel, and top-mounted charging handle of the Uzi. Its capacity is much lower than the PP-19 at just 48 rounds compared to the PP-19's 53 to 64 round magazines (depending on exact caliber).
