The Stalker Lair is an Terminid Structure and Optional Objective for Terminid Missions, in which the goal is to destroy a Stalker Lair.
Stalker Nests
A Stalker Nest structure within the limits of a Colony
Stalker Nests are a unique variant of Terminid Bug Hole. While Helldivers are nearby, the Stalker Nests will regularly spawn the unique Stalker enemy, a large, durable, heavy hitting Terminid with the ability to cloak.
As Stalkers are some of the deadlier Terminid enemies, closing the nests is a top priority. However, the Stalker Lair Bug Holes can be destroyed in the same manner as ordinary Bug Holes, via explosives with a Demolition force of 20 (if a grenade is tossed inside) or any weapon with a demolition force of 40 or higher such as the GP-20 Ultimatum.
Objective Steps
- Destroy Stalker Lair
- There are 1-2 unique Bug Hole structures around the Stalker Nest. They can be destroyed in the same manner as any other bug hole.
- Reward:
200 Requisition Slips &
50 Experience
Tactical Information
- Stalker holes can only be destroyed in two ways:
- Damaging the inside of the bug hole:
- With a minimum demolition force of 20, which requires an explosive damage type.
- With a minimum demolition force of 30, which does not require explosive damage specifically.
- Damaging the outside of the bug hole:
- With a demolition force of 40 or greater.
- A single well placed TED-63 Dynamite grenade can destroy 2 holes.
- With a demolition force of 40 or greater.
- Damaging the inside of the bug hole:
- Helldivers should immediately destroy these Lairs, as Stalkers are one of the most dangerous enemy types.
- Stalkers Lairs can also spawn small Terminids such as Scavengers.
- Stalker Lair holes are the same holes that can be found in Terminid Nests, their only difference is a slightly larger bug hole. They can be destroyed the same way.
- Helldivers can easily locate Stalker Lairs by searching in the direction Stalkers are coming from, and looking for the orange glow of the bug holes.
