TR-117 Alpha Commander is free DLC for Helldivers 2, containing a medium armor set.
Acquisition
The set was claimable via a finite Twitch Drop between February 8th and 23rd, 2024.
Then on December 12, it was made available again to Steam users, in partnership with The Game Awards.[1]
Finally, on the 19th, Helldivers across all platforms gained access to it.
Passive Ability
Med-Kit Increases initial inventory and holding capacity of stims by +2. Increases stim effect duration by 2.0s.
Trivia
- The familiar military green with metallic black accents and the number “117” allude to John-117 and his MJOLNIR armor from the Halo series. Moreover, both “Alpha” and “Commander” are synonymous with his rank, Master Chief.
- The armor set is primarily a CM-14 Physician reskin, with the exception that the left shoulder canisters are replaced by a second shoulder pad.
