Xenoentomology Center is a Super Earth research facility on Turing, focused on the study of the Terminids and E-710 production.
Lore
The Xenoentomology center is dedicated towards Terminid research, as well as the development of special High-Efficiency Alcubierre Drives, for transporting the massive DSS.
The Terminid Research Preserve was a source of research specimens for scientists at the Xenoentomology Center.
Construction
The Xenoentomology Center was constructed on Turing as a part of a Major Order, to aid in the construction of the DSS.
Defense
The Xenoentomology Center was attacked by Terminids after the Terminid Research Preserve Security Breach during the activation of the DSS. Fortunately, the Helldivers managed to hold the planet.
The Gloom
On February 18th 2185, the Xenoentomology center constructed the first Gloom-resistant prototypes, that were able to travel in low-density gloom.
The Outbreak
On April 24th 2185 during the Major Order A2-4-4, The Xenoentomology Center was significantly damaged by the Illuminate, resulting in an outbreak of mutated specimens that had been kept securely under study. As a result, Turing became under attack and eventually overrun by the Predator Strain.
