Become a Legend

You will be assembled into squads of up to four Helldivers and assigned strategic missions. Watch each other's back—friendly fire is an unfortunate certainty of war, but victory without teamwork is impossible.

Loadouts

Rain down freedom from above, sneak through enemy territory, or grit your teeth and charge head-first into the jaws of combat. How you deliver liberty is your choice; you'll have access to a wide array of explosive firepower, life-saving armor and battle-changing stratagems… the jewel in every Helldiver's arsenal.

Requisition

Super Earth recognises your hard work with valuable Requisition. Use it to access different rewards that benefit you, your squad, your destroyer ship and our overall war effort.

Threats

Everything on every planet wants you dead. That's what we're dealing with. Each enemy has distinct and unpredictable characteristics, tactics, and behavior—but they all fight ferociously and without fear or morality.

The Helldivers must take on the role of peacekeepers in this Galactic War and protect their home planet, spread the message of Democracy and repel the hostiles by force.

Wield overpowered weapons!

Decide how to take down each enemy surge using a multitude of offensive and defensive tools.

Need to take out a massive onslaught of Terminids in one go? Drop a 500kg bomb, leaving behind only liberated bug corpses. Need to lay down a defensive perimeter? Bring in an Anti-Personnel Mine Deployer to boobytrap the battlefield.

As you complete missions, you can upgrade your ship and build an even more impressive arsenal. Everything from shield generators, to turrets, to large-scale airstrikes can be used to give your team the upper hand.

Aim carefully!

They say everything is better with friends, especially when it comes to raining destruction down on the enemies of Liberty! Be warned though: for maximum challenge and collaboration, friendly fire is always on. Communicate with your squadmates and make sure your arsenal only takes down your adversaries.

The Plot

The Federation covets a unique and highly valuable resource: E-710 derived from the Terminids. As if that weren't enough, a new menace arose: the Automatons, a relentless mechanical army hell-bent on humanity's annihilation. Enter the Helldivers—elite shock troops, summoned by a gripping recruitment video,^[1] deployed from orbit to reclaim what is stolen and liberate who is oppressed.
