Medals are a Currency used in Helldivers 2 and are used for unlocking Warbond content. The maximum number of medals any Helldiver can have is 250; any additional medals earned beyond this limit are discarded.
Procurement
Medals can be obtained on any Difficulty through various means:
- 1-3 can be collected from cases found at Minor Places of Interest, inside pods, containers, or bunkers.
- These are instantly added to every present Helldiver's account upon pickup. Mission completion is not required.
- 1-14 can be earned by completing Missions based on the chosen difficulty.
- 15 are awarded for completing Personal Orders.
- 35-55 from completing Major Orders.

Field Information
- Special loot containers containing Medals are more likely to be found on difficulties
Trivial through 
Medium, since their spawns are not taken up by Rare Samples in those difficulties.
