Genesis Prime
Genesis Prime is a Ionic Jungle Planet in Helldivers 2, located within the Rictus Sector. It is currently under 
Super Earth Federation control.
Lore
Genesis Prime remained undisturbed by both the Automatons and the Terminids for most of the Second Galactic War. However, shortly after the Helldivers succeeded in holding Calypso, Genesis Prime was attacked by the Illuminate. Initially believed to be an opportunity to finish off the survivors of the attack on Calypso, a Major Order was issued to defend Genesis Prime.
However, this attack would turn out to be the first in a long line of incursions to target the galactic south. With the Illuminate targeting other worlds, the conditions of the Major Order changed to prioritize future defensive action rather than the defense of just one planet. Genesis Prime would ultimately be the first world to fall victim to a successful Illuminate incursion. While it remains under Super Earth control, it is assumed that the colonies of this world were pillaged by the Illuminate.
