Casual salute is an emote in Helldivers 2.
Acquisition
All Cadets are taught the casual salute.
Action
The Helldiver does the Super Earth salute, until interrupted or interacted with.
Interaction
If another player approaches a Helldiver performing this emote and presses the action key, the other player's diver will salute them back and then both will stop emoting.
Tactical Information
- Saluting the flag while spreading democracy raises the flag faster.[1]
- 1 player = 15%
- 2 players = 22.5%
- 3 players = 30%
- 4 players = 37.5%
- Saluting nearby SEAF Infantry will make them follow the player who did the emote. When not engaging with hostiles, these infantry will salute the 'Diver back.
