The Nuclear Wasteland is one of the few possible biomes a planet may have. It is notable in having a mostly ash-grey environment with rarely purple flora. Visibility is poor due to the Thick Fog environmental condition.

It also has a hidden trait; unmarked Damaged Hellbombs may appear in any difficulty. In any other biome, this feature is limited to 
Challenging and above.
