Have these been removed from the game? I haven't at all seen them, after the "automation genocide". -FairwellNoob

If you have (skill with a railgun or autocannon and) a handful of thermites, you could easily destroy a Factory Strider. One way (my preferred way) is to come from behind or far sides and get to the undercarriage of the Strider and throw 3 thermites under it. Or, if your aim is dead-on, destroy the miniguns then throw one thermite at the yellow eye.
