In that time, most Helldivers were focused on Terminid Front. Automatons have decided to take advantage and attack Ustotu.

Strategy and importance

Ustotu was an important planet in the Trigon Sector, it allowed access to Vandalon IV, so Helldivers could attack Vandalon even if Mantes was captured.

Battle

The battle lasted for around 24 hours, Helldivers were severely outnumbered and lost this battle. Around 6.5 million Helldivers died during this battle.

The Ustotu will be under Automaton control, until the Second Battle of Ustotu, almost a month later.
