Atmospheric Spores is an Operation Modifier, exclusive to the Terminid front.
Details
The Bug Spores has a number of effects which obstruct the intelligence acquisition of the mission map:
- Topography is heavily obscured
- Enemy (Terminid) unit "blips" won't appear the minimap
- Area of Influence (AoI) is extremely difficult to make out due the blending colours, effectively masking Bug Nest and other AoI-heat-zones completely invisible on the minimap
- Even after destruction, the Bug Nests remain unmarked on the minimap
Completing the Optional Objective "Activate the Radar / LiDAR Station" will draw markers on the minimap for every point of interest; Terminid-units itself including Bug Holes however remain hidden from the minimap.
