The G-3 Smoke is a Special Throwable that is used to create a temporary smoke screen to obscure Helldivers.
Procurement
The G-3 Smoke is unlocked on the 8th page of the Helldivers Mobilize Warbond for 
25 Medals.

Tactical Information
- Rather than dealing damage, this grenade creates three small smoke clouds that last for 30 seconds each. The clouds often coalesce to form one block of smoke, capable of obscuring a squad of Helldivers.
- As it lacks damage (and by extension, demolition force), the G-3 Smoke cannot destroy Bug Holes, Automaton Fabricators, Bulk Fabricators, or Grounded Warp Ships.
- Enemies that have lost sight with Helldivers entering smoke will still approach the location of the smoke. Helldivers should continue retreating away from the smoke to lose enemies.
- In addition, enemies can still detect Helldivers within the smoke if they are close enough. Helldivers should first disengage or eliminate nearby enemies before obscuring themselves with smoke.
- Notably, the
Automatons are most affected by the G-3 Smoke due to their tendency to fight at range, making it easier to disengage. - The
Terminids are less affected by the G-3 Smoke, as they continuously move towards Helldivers. If far away enough from a chasing horde, Helldivers can utilize nearby terrain with smoke to break line of sight for a longer period of time. - Similar to the Terminids, the
Illuminate are less affected by the G-3 Smoke as well, due to the rushing nature of the Voteless and Fleshmobs.
- The G-3 Smoke can be more effectively utilized to hamper attacks at range from Harvesters, Overseers, Elevated Overseers, and Crescent Overseers.
- The G-3 Smoke can also be used to carefully complete high-risk mission objectives, such as the Prospecting Drills for the Conduct Geological Survey. The obscured Helldiver operating the drill can avoid being targeted by enemies pushing on the objective.
