“We must halt the Automaton advance. Helldivers are ordered to establish and hold the Menkent Line, consisting of the planets Menkent and Lesath. Establishing this defensive line will allow SEAF Engineers to begin construction of orbital defenses on those planets, deterring the advance of the Automaton Fleet and allowing counteroffensive preparations to begin.

The Menkent Line was a defensive line that was established to halt the massive Automaton advance, officially called The Reclamation. While the initial defense was successful, it would ultimately be a temporary victory, as the Automaton fleet would claim more planets, and eventually, the Menkent Line itself.
Background
The previous Major Order failed, and many planets were lost as Automaton fleet advanced deeper and deeper into Super Earth's territory.
Helldivers had to do something about this issue.
Lore
On April 12th, Super Earth issued a new Major Order. Helldivers were tasked with liberating Menkent and Lesath to allow SEAF Engineers to construct the Menkent Line, which would halt the Automaton advance deeper into Super Earth's territory.
