The WARRIOR is a decently armored, mid-size, enemy that often rush head long against their target. Not capable of advanced tactics, they will practically walk into gunfire.
Their carapace protects them from most glancing shots but any well placed projectiles can easily inflict mortal wounds.

Tactics

  • Predominately found on low to medium level planets, Warriors emerge from underground, normally in groups of three to five, wherever Scouts or Vanguards have raised an alarm to warn of a Helldiver's presence.
  • Immediately upon spawning, Warriors will close to melee range and engage players in combat where several strikes from their claws is enough to down a Helldiver.
  • Like the larger Elites, Warriors move relatively slowly—but when severely wounded, will frenziedly charge at whatever they were trying to attack before (eventually) bleeding out. A few well placed shots is usually enough to kill them.
  • The FLAM-40 Incinerator is quite effective against decimating warriors before they can knock any Helldivers down.
