Bile Spitter

From Helldivers Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The Bile Spitter is a small Terminid with the ability to spit a small ball of acidic bile at Helldivers.

Spawning

Bile Spitters can be found on all difficulties, from Bug Breaches, within patrols, guarding Bug Nests and Objectives, or from Bug Holes.

Starting on Challenging Difficulty Icon.pngChallenging, they can be found guarding Minor Places of Interest.

In certain spawn tables/constellations, Bile Spitters will replace Scavengers and Pouncers, and vice versa.

Behavior

Bile Spitters will simply approach Helldivers, climbing over terrain and obstacles in an attempt to spit their bile. Bile Spitters will spit every three seconds and when a Helldiver is within 15m of them. Their bile slow Helldivers' movement speed while dealing a mild damage-over-time effect. Upon death, Bile Spitters will cause a small explosion of bile, dealing damage to nearby Terminids and Helldivers.

Bile Spitters are able to release a cloud of pheromones into the air that causes a Bug Breach.

Tactical Information

  • Due to their low health, Bile Spitters can easily be dispatched by any weapon.
    • The Guard Dog Rover and explosive weaponry can be effective against swarms of Bile Spitters or other small Terminids.
  • Groups of Bile Spitters can easily be killed from one exploding, causing a chain reaction.
  • Bile Spitters, along with Bile Spewers and Bile Warriors, will almost always appear on Terminid Launch ICBM Missions.

* Parts with their HP listed as "Main" do not have their own individual health. All damage dealt to these parts is transferred to the enemy's Main health pool.
** Refer to armor values and enemy durability as defined in Damage.
*** The percentage of damage that is applied to the enemy's Main health pool. At 0 HP, the enemy dies. Unless the enemy has constitution, then it will bleedout and die.
**** ExDR means explosive damage resistance, this is a percentage between 0 and 100. If this value is 100%, the part is explosive immune, meaning explosives cannot damage it. Explosions will only directly damage Main health if it is internal.
