The Detector Tower is an Optional Objective contained within an Automaton structure. For as long as it is standing, it will look out for hostiles and, if it detects any, will call a bot drop on them. To complete the Objective, Helldivers must destroy the structure. It will always have Samples around it.
Objective Steps
- Destroy Automaton Detector Tower
- Helldivers must approach the Detector Tower, call in, arm and defend the Hellbomb until it explodes and the structure is destroyed
- Reward: 200 Requisition, 50 Experience
Tactical Information
- The Tower can be destroyed with a Hellbomb.
- The area immediately surrounding the Tower is not valid ground for Stratagem Hellpods. But also, deploying the Hellbomb outside the walls or at the entrance will not destroy the Tower. Helldivers must place the Stratagem somewhere in between.
- Other alternatives for destroying the tower include the Spear and Eagle 500kg Bomb

- Fix: Fixed incorrect collision being left over after destroying detector towers with hellbombs.
Known Issues
- Area around Automaton Detector Tower makes blue stratagems such as the Hellbomb bounce and be repelled when trying to call them down close to the tower.
