Automaton Fabricator

The Automaton Fabricator is an Automaton exclusive structure found in Automaton Outposts. These fabricators will continuously deploy new automaton units until they are destroyed.

Tactical Information

• Automaton Fabricators can be destroyed by getting weak explosives (grenades, explosive munition) inside it, or from the outside by using strong explosive (airstrikes, orbital bombardments) or with blunt force (Hellpod, 500kg Bomb).
  • Throwing an Explosive Grenade or shooting explosive munition inside one of the two vents above the door or inside the Fabricator when the door opens. Smoke and Stun Grenades won't destroy Fabricators.
    • For G-16 Impact Grenades, GL-21 Grenade Launcher, GP-31 Grenade Pistol, aim below the bottom of the vent.
    • For LAS-99 Quasar Cannon, and R-36 Eruptor aim for the bottom part of the vent.
    • For the AC-8 Autocannon aim at the latch above the hole. Depending on the angle it might be possible to ricochet the shell into the vent.
  • Using certain Stratagems:
    • Eagle Airstrike or Orbital Precision Strike are the most reliable way to destroy a Fabricator.
    • Orbital Railcannon Strike or Orbital Laser will home on to a Fabricator unless better target is present.
    • Eagle Cluster Bomb can sometimes destroy the Fabricator if a bomblet manages to fall into a vent.
    • Eagle 500kg Bomb can destroy a Fabricator with both direct impact or the explosion.
  • A Hellbomb or a Hellpod with supplies, reinforcements, or equipment will destroy a Fabricator on impact.
    • A Helldiver getting out of a hellpod will be protected from the Fabricator explosion during the deployment animation.
• A Fabticator can also be destroyed by a Cannon Turret shot or a Meteorite.
• Upon destruction the fabricator will perform an animation and explode with a decently large amount of force, damaging any Enemies or Helldivers nearby.
