The AR-23 Liberator is the first Weapon that every Helldiver receives. It is a solid and reliable choice for rookies and veterans alike for just about any Mission. The variable zoom scope allows you to effectively engage enemies at various distances. The select fire options enable precise shots and ammo conservation.

Additionally, a flashlight and laser are mounted under the barrel at the front of the weapon. The flashlight can be set to Auto mode - turning it on while aiming at night - or left always on or always off. Friendly teammates can see the laser when the weapon is aimed, allowing them to know where you are pointing the weapon.

Procurement

It is the standard issue weapon supplied to every Helldiver at the beginning of their career.

Tactical Information

  • Aim for the head of enemies. Not only does this help conserve ammo, you also will be able to clear hordes much quicker.
  • Don't reload when your magazine if it is still mostly full. You'll be wasting a lot of precious ammo.
