Tactical Information

  • As the starter assault rifle, the Liberator is capable of engaging Democracy's enemies on any field of battle.
  • The scope can be adjusted to fight at close to medium range, with options at 25m, 50m and 100m. Allowing the Helldiver to place rounds precisely where needed.
  • Its fire rate can be adjusted between Semi-/Fully-Automatic or Three-Round Burst. At short ranges, full-auto can quickly and easily overwhelm enemies with a storm of bullets, while at longer ranges burst or semi-auto firing can be used to precisely land rounds on distant enemies' weak spots.
  • An underbarrel flashlight can be adjusted based on visibility conditions. In Auto mode, the flashlight turns on only when the weapon is aimed. It can be turned always on or off.
  • A laser pointer is activated when ADS, pointing to where rounds will land. It is also visible to teammates. A helpful feature aiding in hitting targets and warning teammates if they would walk across your line of (friendly) fire.
  • Beware that the weapon can only penetrate Armor AP2 Icon.png Light armor, meaning it will have difficulty engaging armored enemies such as Hive Guards and Devastators. These enemies can be dispatched by targeting their unarmored body parts (the legs and thorax on Hive Guards, or the abdomen, pelvis and head on Devastators). Be sure to pick a proper secondary or support weapon to account for the Liberator's weak armor penetration.
