The SMG-37 Defender is a Submachine Gun with a moderate rate of fire. It fires slower than the Liberator, but does slightly more damage. The lower rate of fire, combined with the low recoil, means the gun is easily controlled when fired at full auto.
Procurement
The Defender is unlocked on the the 3rd page of the Helldivers Mobilize Warbond for 
15 Medals.
