A powerful dual magazine pump-action shotgun, with limited armor penetration. Ideal for small and fast targets.

The SG-8 Punisher is a pump action shotgun with the highest damage per shot of any shotgun. The shotgun is reloaded one round at a time, which can prevent wasted ammo, but can also leave you open due to a longer reload time if the magazine is empty.

Procurement

It is unlocked on the 1st page of the Helldivers Mobilize Warbond for Medal.svg 4 Medals.

Tactical Information

  • Try to keep the gun topped off between encounters. This can prevent Helldivers from being caught out due to its long reload time from empty to full.
    • Conversely, Helldivers can also shoot without topping off the magazine if needed.
    • Reload time closely matches the gun's firing rate, so by reloading directly after every shot a near-constant output can be achieved at the expense of aim indication.
  • The Punisher is capable of staggering anything up to medium-size enemies, making it deceptively effective against them as they cannot fight back so long as the wielder keeps firing.
