Tactical Information
- A high-caliber pistol, the Verdict can be considered a more powerful version of the P-2 Peacemaker.
- While it has fewer rounds per magazine, each round from the Verdict deals significantly more damage, meaning that both weapons inflict roughly the same amount of damage per magazine.
- The Verdict carries almost twice as many spare magazines as the Peacemaker, so its combat load of 90 rounds is only slightly less than the Peacemaker's 105 rounds. However, with its fewer rounds per magazine, the Verdict will find itself having to reload more often, creating more situations where the wielder may be vulnerable.
- Because of its high damage per round, the Verdict benefits greatly from targeting the weak points of enemies, such as the abdomens of Devastators. In order to counteract its comparatively small magazine, hitting the weak spots of enemies can allow the Verdict to dispatch foes in only one or two shots.
- Because of its heavy cartridge, the Verdict is capable of penetrating
Medium armor for reduced damage. This makes it more effective at handling targets with medium armor than most other sidearms, such as Hive Guards and Devastators, where their rounds would simply just ricochet off. - As it carries a large number of reserve magazines, it can be beneficial to always reload the Verdict to a full magazine between engagements, so that in the event that it is needed it will always have all rounds at the ready.
- As a Secondary Weapon, the Verdict can be wielded when the left hand is holding mission-critical equipment, or when equipped with the Ballistic Shield Backpack.
Trivia
- The Verdict's design is based on the Desert Eagle, with its "Rapid Deliberation" cartridge being a play on the Desert Eagle's Action Express.
