The Orbital Railcannon Strike also known as the ORC or ORS is an offensive stratagem calls down an ultra high-velocity shot from the Super Destroyer's powerful railcannon. When the stratagem is thrown, an aiming laser appears and then tracks the largest target closest to the stratagem beacon. The shot will aim for the center of mass of the target and deal massive damage, able to kill most enemies in a single shot.

Tactical Information

  • The Orbital Railcannon fires an exceptionally precise projectile. It will very rarely hit more than one enemy, since it typically chooses targets that are larger than its minuscule area of effect.
  • The attack nearly always hits the center of mass of whichever enemy or structure it targets.
  • Every enemy currently in the game will die reliably to a single hit from this orbital strike, except for Bile Titans and Factory Striders.
    • A Railcannon Strike will almost always hit a Bile Titan in the back, which will critically wound it and strip a huge chunk of its armor off, but won't kill it. A headshot will kill it, but getting one with the Orbital Railcannon is entirely dependent on the direction it's facing relative to the Super Destroyer.
      • As with all Orbital stratagems, their origin will be from the Super Destroyer, which is located in the middle of the area of operations. If the Bile Titan is facing the middle, it increases the chances to get a headshot.
    • Factory Striders will take significant damage, but as their top isn't a weak spot, it will not be destroyed outright either. Only their Cannon Turret will be destroyed.
    • Chargers, Hulks, Tanks and Cannon Turrets will reliably be destroyed from a single shot.
    • If you get the timing just right, a Railcannon Strike can destroy a Dropship before it disgorges its passengers.
  • If no other viable target is in the area, the Railcannon Strike will destroy a nearby Terminid Bug Hole or Bot Fabricator.
