Spawning

Charger Behemoths can be first found on Medium Difficulty Icon.pngMedium as the Mission Target of the Eliminate Chargers mission.

Starting on Suicide Difficulty Icon.pngSuicide Mission, the Charger Behemoth, along with the Spore Charger, will have a chance of replacing Chargers. Higher difficulties will increase this chance. Like the Charger, Charger Behemoths can spawn from Bug Breaches, patrolling the map with other Terminids, and guarding Objectives. They can also be found guarding heavy Bug Nests, Super Helldive Difficulty Icon.pngSuper Helldive's mega Nests, and Minor Places of Interest, where they can be sometimes found burrowed.

Behavior

Charger Behemoths behave similarly to Chargers.

Charger Behemoths have slightly more health and durability compared to Chargers, but otherwise behave the same.

* Parts with their HP listed as "Main" do not have their own individual health. All damage dealt to these parts is transferred to the enemy's Main health pool.
** Refer to armor values and enemy durability as defined in Damage.
*** The percentage of damage that is applied to the enemy's Main health pool. At 0 HP, the enemy dies. Unless the enemy has constitution, then it will bleedout and die.
**** ExDR means explosive damage resistance, this is a percentage between 0 and 100. If this value is 100%, the part is explosive immune, meaning explosives cannot damage it. Explosions will only directly damage Main health if it is internal.

Tactical Information

Charger Behemoths can be dispatched with the same tactics used against Chargers.

  • Despite its increased health, the Behemoth shares many of the same anti-tank weapon breakpoints as the Charger: a direct shot to the torso from the FAF-14 Spear or GR-8 Recoilless Rifle will instantly dispatch it, while other anti-tank weapons require a headshot. The exposed torso bonus damage that the Charger has also applies to the Behemoth variant.
    • The G-123 Thermite grenade, if stuck to the torso, will not instantly dispatch the Behemoth upon detonation. Aim for the head to guarantee an instant kill.
    • Armor AP4 Icon.png Heavy penetrating support weapons will deal reduced damage to a Behemoth on most areas of the body, but this is an even slower endeavor than dispatching a regular Charger via this method due to the Behemoth's increased health and durability.

The Charger Behemoth is a large Terminid that is a more durable variant of the Charger, sporting angled armor.
